CHRISTOPHER RUSSELL VAJANYI|PART 1

——————————————————————————
IN CONVERSATION|CHRISTOPHER VAJANYI

Name|Christopher Russell Vajanyi
Age|19
Hometown|Melbourne, Florida

How did you get discovered?
I was in the process of moving to Miami Beach for marketing and advertising when I had gotten approached by Jordan Morris, an agent from MSA Models, asking if I ever modeled before. I've always interested in the industry but have never pursued a career in it. He simply told me I have to come to New York City immediately and offered me a contract. I dropped everything and moved here within the week of signing. So exciting!
What were you doing prior to modeling?
I was a social media entrepreneur working with my good friends out in Dallas. We all decided to move to Miami to change up our environment and save money. We essentially ran huge pages across social media platforms.
People would be surprised to know that I...
I'd say something surprising about me would be the fact I am adamant about my future. I never let myself truly conform to society or be a product of my environment. No matter the path I take, I will always be me and no one can take that away from me.
What's your latest obsession?
Traveling and seeing beautiful sites lately. That's why the fashion industry seems very fitting for me and more so my kind of forte. I see it as, you can live in your hometown for your whole life, but if you never leave, it's like never stepping out of your bedroom in a huge beautiful world that's out there waiting for you to explore!
Your most prize possession?
The most sentimental thing I owned is my beloved pup, Willow. She is German short haired/chocolate lab mix and she is four years old. When I lived in Melbourne with her, she'd go on long walks with me on the beach. She absolutely loves car rides but at the end of the night she would climb up in bed and cuddle me to sleep every night.
Growing up, who did you look up to as your hero?
My mother, she is my biggest inspiration! She literally made me who I am today!
When is the last time you said, "I Love You" to someone?
My mother, I love you!
Three adjectives that best describes you:
Determine, Sincere and Thoughtful
Describe your personal style:
I am a chameleon, I change up my style every single day!
Your favorite place you have travel to:
I'd say Los Angeles because of the incredible people that are so connected. I just can feel a vibe from a person that I can instantly tell they grew up there. The culture is amazing and I also met a girl in South Gate that showed me places that only locals knows about. That alone made me have an understanding that I was meant to reside there when I settle down.
Your favorite film and scene from the film:
Fight Club—Scene: I love how you can watch the movie over and over, and you will always notice something different about it. My favorite scene is when Edward Norton beats himself up in his bosses' office.
Since you love shopping and dress well, who are your favorite designers?
Gucci, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Versace and Prada
If there's a destination or item you would recommend us to check out or visit about your native country/city or town, what would you recommend?
Melbourne, Florida—I will take you to Ocean Avenue. It's where I learned how to surf and where I primarily hung out at.
If you were given a indie cable show, what type of show would it be? Which song would you choose as your theme song?
I make skits up like Loiter Squad or Saturday Night Live. Theme song: Scenario by A Tribe Called Quest
Craziest thing you ever done:
I once dressed fully head to toe as V from V for Vendetta at my high school and got tackled by the vice principle!
Your wish for 2016?
I'd be comfortable having my best friend, Rocco to accompany me in the city that never sleeps!
